Mrs. Lt.M.S.N. Swathi is an able teacher of Chemistry. She obtained her M.Sc. and pursuing M.Phil in the Department of Chemistry from Acharya Nagarjuna University.  She has over 18 years of teaching experience at under graduate and post graduate levels. She has been working as Asst.Professor of Chemistry of KKR&KSR Institute of Technology & Sciences for the past 14 years. Her broad areas of interest include Reaction mechanisms and Molecular Spectroscopy.

She has huge contribution to the field of Chemistry at academic and non-academic requirements. She has analysed the soil and water sources and reported to Myriad construction companies. She is mentoring the projects being undertaken by the students of Civil and Mechanical Engineering. She is a member of American Chemical Society. She ably counsels the students and caters her teaching to the needs of the students to apply in Physical life. The author is holding the position as Lieutenant. She is an Associate NCC officer of college NCC wing.

Engineering Chemistry is gaining importance and becoming popular subject for all branches of Engineering students. Departments like Civil and Mechanical Engineering need thorough knowledge in most fundamental aspects of Chemistry theory and laboratory experiments.

Books Published:

• Authored “ENGINEERING CHEMISTRY” A Widely Used Text Book in the field of Engineering, Published by SPECTRUM Publishers. This book is designed as an introduction laboratory book for students of Engineering. The book consists of Introduction to Chemistry Laboratory and Volumetric Analysis. It also includes the basic experiments concerning the measurement of factors like pH, conductivity and hardness. The author discussed the limits of water quality and other parameters. The book also implants and initiates the research in the minds of young budding and blossoming engineers to carry out useful projects in future.
